Application process

You can apply for projects on their application page – the length of the form depends on how specific the eligibility criteria are. To save you time applying for projects you may not be eligible for, keep your personal profile up to date – we’ll send you online surveys and projects we think you’ll be a good fit for!

If your application for a project is successful, one of our friendly team will give you a call to ask a few final questions and make sure you fit the criteria and, if you do, we’ll book you in to take part! You’ll get a confirmation email with all the details you need.
Unfortunately, due the number of applications we receive, we can’t always let you know if you’re unsuccessful – don’t let that put you off though, there will be a project that you’re the perfect fit for!

I never get picked for research

All our projects have super specific criteria for participants. This means that out of thousands of applications for a project, only a handful will be eligible to participate. We will always let you know of any projects we think you might be a fit for, and we can do this more accurately if your personal profile is complete and up to date. The better we know you, the better we can see what you might be eligible for!

What happens if I’m booked to take part?

Once a team member has called you to confirm you’re eligible for the research and booked you on, you’ll get an email with all the info you need. If it’s for face-to-face research, you’ll get details of the venue, timings and anything else you need to know. If it’s for online research, you’ll get links for the interview/groups.

Personal questions in the applications

Some of the questions asked in the applications may seem a bit strange! That’s because we’re usually looking for a very specific type of person to take part in research. For example, even if a project is about cable providers, the client might also want participants to drive a certain car or have children of a certain age.
We also ask these questions so that we can send you projects we think you’ll be a good fit for – a complete and up to date personal profile will save you wasting time filling out applications for projects you’re not eligible for. We’ll come to you instead!

How long until I get paid?

It can take up to 30 days after the research is complete to receive payment.

How are payments made?

This depends on the project, but most often PayPal .
